Wen Dao · I Ching is an AI-powered divination and self-reflection platform based on the ancient Chinese classic I Ching (Book of Changes). The Service provides personalized hexagram readings and interpretations for entertainment, self-reflection, and cultural exploration purposes.

Important: Our readings are co-created by a team of senior scholars with 40 years of I Ching research experience, combined with advanced artificial intelligence technology. They are for entertainment, self-reflection, and cultural exploration purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on our readings.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Payment and Refunds

• The Service offers free readings and paid premium readings. Pricing is displayed on the website and is subject to change.
• All payments are processed securely through our payment processor (Waffo Pancake).
• Paid readings are delivered instantly after successful payment.
• Due to the digital nature of our service, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a reading has been delivered.
• If you experience technical issues preventing you from receiving your paid reading, please contact us and we will resolve the issue.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to bypass any usage limits or payment systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Submit harmful, offensive, or illegal content as questions

6. Breach of Terms and Consequences

If you violate any of these Terms of Service, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

• Warning: Issuing a formal warning regarding the violation
• Suspension: Temporarily suspending your access to the Service, including free and paid readings
• Termination: Permanently terminating your access to the Service
• Account Ban: Banning your IP address, device, or email from using the Service
• Refusal of Refund: Refusing refunds for any unused paid readings in case of serious violations
• Legal Action: Taking legal action if the violation causes harm or involves illegal activities

We will determine the appropriate response based on the severity and frequency of the violation. Serious or repeated violations will result in immediate termination of access without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Wen Dao · I Ching and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. In no event shall Wen Dao · I Ching be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
